In the past, I have always been captured by the possible ways of living that the future could hold. Taking on an imaginative and opportunistic perspective, seeing things that others could not yet see. This followed me throughout my life, with ambition and passion for creating. Creation has always inspired me, creating a hunger to draw, program, model in Blender, create and edit videos, create my own personal computer, make music and much more. Through these media, exploring and communicating these possible future narratives.
Another side of me is easily seduced to more theoretical, philosophical and analytical practices. A primary example of this was my high school research project diving into the Belousov Zhabotinsky reaction, and the complex models described to predict its behavior. Another example is my affinity towards origin stories, having followed a course in high school called Big History subsidized by Bill gates. This was further explored by my interest in other origin stories based on mythology and religion.
When going through my gap year, still not knowing what I wanted to study. I got the chance to take a hard critical look on my life till then. Trying to find the essence that makes me want to be, that which makes me the person that I am, finding that which gives me passion in life. Unsurprisingly, I did not quite manage to fill the ocean that this question excavates in one's soul. Yet it did give me a sense of direction, being the interest in the intersection between technology, society and creation. leading me to begin my studies at Industrial design at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
